Hello.
I'm Beth.
I am a graduate of a Baking and Pastry Arts program, with a BAH in English Literature. I aspire to lead the good life.
I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian, interested in local, organic, and raw food.
With the exception of fruit, I don't eat imported or refined sugars, specifically cane sugars. The only non-fruit sweeteners I use are local honey and maple syrup.
My blog is dedicated to my personal baking, which is always vegetarian and cane sugar free, and to documenting my other food related activities.
Welcome!

I love the look of those Honey, Orange, and Almond Cookies! You couldn't help but take a wee bite before your third picture eh? I don't blame you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your article about dehydrating nuts after cleaning! It was very helpful to me. Much appreciation :D
ReplyDeleteSo my mum wanted to know what I meant when I said my shell cookies for my exam turned out well. I google image searched "shell shortbread cookie" and saw a picture that looked exactly like the ones we did in class. I look a little further and I notice that the author of the blog is named Beth, and she's an organic eater... and she also makes the same stuff I do in class... Had no idea you had a blog, your photographs are absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad I randomly stumbled across it!
ReplyDeleteHA! That's so funny.
ReplyDeleteI believe we go to the same school, but not the same semester. I just started this month. Great blog by the way!
ReplyDeleteOh, neat! I hope you enjoy it!
DeleteHi Beth,
ReplyDeleteJust came across your blog, and it is gorgeous! Can I ask you what kind of lens you are shooting with?
Hi!
DeleteThanks for the comment! Since the fall, I have been using a 50mm macro lens...because that's all I can afford.
